Adult Sunday School
Small Groups. Solid Relationships. Amazing Fellowship. In a day when the work day often lasts far too long and weekends are filled with too much activity, it is hard to find and maintain good lasting relationships with other adults. In that same hectic world when you feel the weight of the world is on your shoulders, you also had better be standing on solid ground or you'll slowly start sinking in the mire of the world. Bunker Hill United Methodist Church's Adult Sunday School can help you with those problems. At Bunker Hill, our adult Sunday School classes are not regimented classes, but rather are a place where adults like you gather to learn and grow in faith, build relationships, fellowship, and connect. You will find that we have a Sunday School class that is just right for you, where you will make new friends who will help you enjoy the high marks of life and stand beside you during the rough stretches. You'll also start learning Biblical truths to support you and your family. We encourage everyone to become a part of a Sunday School class - as they are the number one small group. Generally, classes meet each Sunday morning beginning at 10:00 am. You will find that 'small groups,' 'fellowship groups,' 'faith groups,' 'learning groups' or even 'affinity groups,' are all probably better names for these weekly Sunday morning gatherings of friends rather than 'Sunday School.' However, in keeping with the history and tradition of the United Methodist Church, we continue to call these small, fellowship learning groups Sunday School. While a small weekly Biblical lesson is a core part of each Sunday morning gathering of our various Sunday School classes, you will find that the fellowship time with adults just like you is equally important as we all support each other along our faith journey and through the joys and struggles of life. Below you will find Bunker Hill's various adult Sunday School fellowship groups. We welcome you to explore them all and find the one which best suits you. If you need help, please feel free to ask anyone you encounter at Bunker Hill to connect you with either Andrea Rubio (our Director of Christian Education) or our pastor, Chuck Ireson who would be absolutely thrilled to help you make a selection.
